Spokane Police search for bank robbery suspect

Spokane Police are searching for a man who robbed the Banner Bank in the 900 block of E. Mission this morning. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.

Just after 11 a.m., Spokane Police received a call of a Robbery at the Banner bank in the 900 block of E. Mission. Officers were on-scene less than two minutes later. Witnesses told police the man handed the teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen. The suspect fled on foot. A K-9 track was initiated; however, the suspect has not been located.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, approximately 225 lbs. He was wearing a gray jacket, jeans and a gray baseball cap.
