- 42 year-old Kevin Cooper, who was wanted on a Burglary warrant, was arrested for 2nd Degree Burglary after breaking into an E. Sprague business.
On 3-22-14 around 3:30 pm Spokane Police responded to an alarm at 3407 E. Main, Silent Screaming Hawk, LLC. While in route, 911 dispatch advised the caller could see a suspect inside the business via a video camera. When officers arrived, the suspect fled out of the rear of the business. Officers located and arrested the suspect, 42-year-old Kevin Cooper, several blocks away. Cooper was booked into jail for 2nd Degree Burglary and an outstanding warrant for Burglary.
- Suspect arrested after a vehicle and foot chase; 24-year-old Daniel Comer arrested for Attempt to Elude, Driving Under the Influence, Hit and Run Unattended, and Driving While License Suspended 1st Degree.
On 03-23-14 around midnight, Spokane Police observed a Dodge Durango driving recklessly in the area of Crestline/Buckeye. The driver stopped the vehicle and fled on foot near Perry/Baldwin) after hitting an unoccupied vehicle. Officers took him into custody several blocks away. The driver, 24 year-old Daniel Comer, was arrested for Attempt to Elude, Driving Under the Influence, Hit and Run Unattended, and Driving While License Suspended 1st Degree.
- Officers see subject walking down street with a beer in one hand and rifle in another; arrest 36 year-old Michael Smith for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
On 3-23-14 around 7:30 pm a Spokane Police officer observed a subject around 1000 E. North, walking down the street. The subject was carrying a beer in one hand and a black, stocked rifle in the other. When the man, later identified as 36-year-old Michael Smith, observed the officer, he attempted to run away and hide the firearm. He was taken into custody without incident. Officers discovered Smith is a convicted felon (felony conviction for Burglary) and should not be in possession of a firearm. Smith was booked into jail for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
