Overnight shooting downtown sends one victim to the hospital. Police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect(s).

On 04-24-2014, just before 2 a.m., patrol officers responded to the reporting of a shooting outside the Lion's Lair in the 200 block of W. Riverside. Officers arrived within one minute of the initial 911 call. According to witnesses, bouncers kicked two people out of the bar shortly before the incident occurred. One suspect, described as a black male, 5'10" wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, fired shots through the front window of the business striking an employee in the leg. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives continue to investigation this incident. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
