Spokane Police detectives, in collaboration with Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Bureau (ATF), Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Washington State Patrol (WSP), executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of west Jackson today. Gary Wayne Taylor (46) was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the 1st Degree.

Today, May 22, 2014, just after 6 a.m, Spokane Police detectives from the Special Investigative Unit (SIU) executed a search warrant at a home in the 1100 block of west Jackson. Information was received about possible stolen property at the location and detectives were able to gain enough information to secure a search warrant.

With the help of agents from the ATF, DEA, and troopers from WSP, SPD SIU was able to recover some stolen property. They also found methamphetamine in the home along with a firearm.
