Spokane Police respond to the report of a stabbing in the 700 block of west Riverside. The victim succumbed to his injures at a local hospital. Police are still searching for the suspect who left on foot.
On 06/07/2014, just before 3:30pm, officers responded to the report of a stabbing inside the STA Plaza. Officers were on scene in less than 2 minutes and performed life saving measures on the victim who was bleeding heavily and unresponsive. Despite the best efforts of police and emergency medical personnel, the victim died of his wounds at the hospital.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, wearing blue jeans, a red patterned polo shirt and a baseball cap. He left the area on foot after the assault. At this time, the relationship of the victim and the suspect, as well as a possible motive, for the crime are still being investigated.
