Spokane Police Patrol Anti-Crime Team (PACT) officers have arrested Alicia C. Sweet on her warrant for Rendering Criminal Assistance related to the 2012 homicide of David “Brandon” Deponte. Sweet was arrested last night at a residence in the 1400 block of N. Lincoln.
Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives referred the charge of 1st Degree Rendering Criminal Assistance to the Spokane County Prosecutor and a warrant for Sweet's arrest was issued last night. Hours after that warrant was issued, Sweet was taken into custody by SPD PACT.
Sweet will appear in court today at 1:30 p.m.
