Spokane Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred last night. At this time there is limited information and anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
Last night, September 15, 2014, just after 10 p.m., Spokane Police officers responded to the American Medical Response (AMR) building at Monroe and Sinto. A man who had been stabbed entered building looking to AMR personnel for medical assistance. He indicated the stabbing occurred in the area of an apartment building in the 1200 block of north Monroe. The victim indicated that he and another female were in the alley behind the building when they were approached by another male and female who demanded the victim’s bike. The victim indicated the suspects took the bike and a suitcase he was carrying and then he realized he had been stabbed.
The suspects are described as a white male, 20-30 years of age, approximately 6’ tall, with a medium build and a white female in her 20s wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital to be treated.
Detectives are looking for more information on what may have led up to this incident as well as information on the identity of the suspects. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
