Spokane Police have located and arrested 2nd Degree Murder suspect Chrystal Huff (40). Huff was taken into custody after several hours of negotiations and response from on-duty members of SPD's Emergency Response Unit.
Early this morning, 10/29/14, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Spokane Police received information that Murder suspect, Chrystal Huff was at an apartment in the 200 block of N. Division. Patrol officers responded to that location and attempted to make contact with individuals inside the apartment. There was no response, however people could be heard inside. Negotiators as well as on-duty members of SPD's Emergency Response Unit (ERU) responded to the scene. After repeated negotiation attempts with no response, a search warrant was obtained and executed. Huff was located inside the apartment and was taken into custody without incident.
Additionally, Lawrence S. Barile was located in the apartment and arrested for 1st Degree Rendering Criminal Assistance.
