12:24 p.m. - The Spokane Police Department will recognize employees for their service to the Spokane community at the SPD Awards Ceremony Feb. 26.

Spokane Police Determine Report of Robbery, Assault was False Report

8:17 p.m. - Spokane Police responded to and have investigated a report of robbery and sexual assault in N. Spokane.

Feb. 18

Spokane Police Internal Affairs Investigation Complete

2:37 p.m. - The investigation into two Spokane Police officers responding to an assault at Boots Bakery found no evidence of improper conduct.

Feb. 16

SPD Looks to Public to Help ID Bank Robbery Suspect

3:05 p.m. - Anyone with information on the identity of a bank robbery suspect is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

Mayor, Chief Deliver Final Update to Use of Force Commission

4:51 p.m. - Mayor Condon and Chief Straub outlined the progress of Spokane Police in implementing the Commission’s twenty-six (26) recommendations.

Domestic Violence Family Justice Center Opens in Spokane

3:59 p.m. - The Spokane Regional Domestic Violence Team (SRDVT) is now working together in one location, called the Family Justice Center.

Spokane Police Looks to Public to Help ID Assault Suspects

11:59 a.m. - Spokane Police are working to identify two suspects in an assault Feb. 2 at a grocery store in the 3900 block of N. Market.

Spokane Police Arrest Two Robbery Suspects

5:27 p.m. - Detectives have arrested two people in connection to this morning’s armed robbery of a gas station convenience store near 17th Ave. and Ray St.

City, County Partner to Replace Dispatch, Records Management System

2:47 p.m. - The City of Spokane and Spokane County are partnering to replace the current computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and records management system (RMS).

Feb. 9

Shooting Suspect Tanner Located and Arrested

4:30 p.m. - The suspect in a Jan. 26 shooting outside a north Spokane grocery store has been taken into custody in Montana.

Feb. 6

SIRR Team Update: ongoing investigation; release of suspect name

3:01 p.m. - The suspect accused of shooting at law enforcement in the incident, identified as Christopher R. Myers, 28, is in custody assault and firearm charges.

Spokane Police Search for Shooting Suspect

10:06 a.m. - Spokane Police continue to investigate a shooting incident that occurred in the 3900 block of N. Market St. on the evening of Jan. 26.

Spokane Police Arrest Stabbing Suspect

9:19 a.m. - Spokane Police have arrested the suspect who is believed to have stabbed a woman while she was walking on W. 2nd Ave. on the night of Jan. 25.

Grand Opening of the Domestic Violence Family Justice Center

2:27 p.m. - The Spokane Regional Domestic Violence Team (SRDVT) will now work in one location, called the Family Justice Center.

Spokane Police Release More Detailed Photo of Stabbing Suspect

2:16 p.m. - Spokane Police released another photo of a suspect who is believed to have stabbed a woman while she was walking Downtown January 25th.

Feb. 4

Additional Assault Witnesses Urged to Contact SPD

4:56 p.m. - Several people, who are believed to have witnessed an assault Friday, are being asked to contact Police.

Spokane Police Investigate Car Prowling with Shots Fired

11:20 a.m. - A vehicle prowling suspect may have shot himself Wednesday in an altercation with a resident of the neighborhood where he was allegedly prowling.

Feb. 3

Spokane Police Arrest Two Suspects in Connection to Friday's Assault

4:53 p.m. - Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives have arrested two men in connection to an assault that occurred in Downtown Spokane on Friday night.

Spokane Police Look to Public to ID Stabbing Suspect

1:29 p.m. - On Sunday, Spokane Police responded to a business in the 400 block of W. Sprague on a report that a female at the location had suffered a stab wound.

Spokane Police Investigate Assault

8:12 a.m. - Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are investigating an assault that occurred in Downtown Spokane on Friday night.
