Officers Respond to Early Morning Shooting in Northeast Spokane

At approximately 5:30 this morning Spokane Police received a call, from the 1200 block of E Garland, that a resident had been shot. Officers immediately responded and gave first aid to the victim. Officers carried the victim to the ambulance while other officers checked the area for the suspect.

The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A Spokane PD K9 responded to the scene and an area search was conducted.

The shooting appears to have occurred outside the victim’s home.

Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives responded and are currently investigating.
