Spokane PD makes quick arrest in Subway Robbery

On 12/18/15 around 5:15 p.m. a suspect robbed the Subway on Northwest Blvd. Less than five minutes later a member of Spokane PD’s Patrol Anti Crime Team (PACT) spotted a subject matching the description of the robber. The suspect immediately took off running.

After a short foot pursuit officers caught and arrested the suspect. The suspect had removed his jacket before he was caught.

The suspect, 38 year old Steven White, was booked in to jail for robbery, possession of methamphetamines and a Department of Corrections warrant.

A Spokane PD K-9 was able to locate White’s jacket that he had attempted to hide in an alley.
