Spokane Police Officers responded to the area of Cochran and Dean last night on the report of a vehicle prowling in progress. An alert neighbor saw the suspect, Kyle J. Runge (19), rummaging through the victim’s car. When confronted by the victim, Runge pulled out a knife and threatened the victim allegedly saying, “I’ll take a life.”

Last night, Feb. 17, 2016, just before 7:00pm, Spokane Police patrol officers responded to the area of Cochran St. and Dean Ave. on the report of a vehicle prowling victim following a suspect. The victim’s vigilant neighbor saw a suspect, later identified as Kyle Runge, rummaging through his vehicle. The neighbor alerted the victim who then started following Runge.
