Spokane Police Ask for Help Locating Missing Child

Precious has been found safe at another relative’s house. SPD would like to thank everyone for their help.

The Spokane Police Division is asking for the public’s help locating a missing child. Precious Kortness (11) has been in foster care since the incident last week.

Today, March 01, 2016, just after 5:00p.m. Precious was reported missing by her foster parents. Precious was last seen getting off the school bus at 9th and Helena at 4:37 p.m.  Spokane Police have confirmed that Precious is not with her mother. Spokane Police have been unable to locate other family members and are asking for the public’s help in locating her.

Precious was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and a multi-colored jacket.

Precious is described as a white female, 5’, 80 lbs., with blond hair and blue eyes. Police are concerned about the child’s welfare Anyone who sees Precious or knows her whereabouts is asked to call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.
