Spokane Police Ask for Help Locating Missing Child

Spokane Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing child. Andrew Shatz (14) cognitively functions at approximately ten years of age. If you see Shatz or know of his whereabouts, please call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

Today, May 12, 2016, just before 4:00pm, Spokane Police received a call from Andrew’s school saying he had left school grounds and could not be located. He was last seen in the area of Belt/Longfellow.

Andrew is described as a white male, 4’5”, 70lbs, and was last seen wearing square framed glasses, approx. 2” long dark hair, a red t-shirt, red shorts, a blue hoodie and carrying a black and blue backpack. Attached is a recent picture.
