SPD Investigates Vehicle Vs. Pedestrian Collision

SPD's Major Crimes Unit is Investigating a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision that happened at the intersection of Francis and "C" St. this evening. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries.

Today, Dec.22,2016, just before 9:00pm, Spokane Police, Spokane Fire Department, and AMR responded to west Francis Ave and north 'C' St in Northwest Spokane regarding a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision.

A juvenile was struck by a vehicle and was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. At this time Major Crimes Unit traffic investigators are on scene. The driver of the involved vehicle is on scene and cooperating with investigators.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t talked to investigators to please call crime check at 509-456-2233. Roads will be closed in the area, possibly for several hours, so citizens are asked to use alternate routes.
