Spokane Police Investigating Robbery at Hais Market on Crestline

Spokane Police are investigating the armed robbery of Hais Market in the 5100 block of north Crestline. The incident occurred Sunday evening. The suspect displayed a shotgun and fled in a vehicle. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

Tonight, May 14, 2017, just before 7:30pm, Spokane Police received a report of an armed robbery at the Hais Market located in the 5100 block of north Crestline. The suspect entered the business, displayed a shotgun and demanded money. He fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money, firing one round at a person walking into the business as he was leaving. That shot missed the intended victim. No one was injured during the robbery.

Officers arrived on scene within three minutes of the initial call, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, mid 20’s or older, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium to heavy build. He was wearing a white hi-top sneakers, black hat, black hooded sweatshirt, and blue jean shorts.

This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
