Death Investigation Near 2nd Avenue and Division Street

On June 27, 2017 around 2:30 PM, a vehicle pulled into the parking lot near 2^nd Avenue and Division Street to contact an AMR ambulance crew there on an unrelated call. An occupant in the vehicle asked AMR to check the medical condition of a passenger. It was determined the male was deceased.

Detectives from the Major Crimes division were called to the scene for a death investigation. All unattended deaths are investigated.

All parties involved in the death investigation are cooperating with detectives. There is no known threat to the community.

Spokane Police ask any person who may have information related to this death to call Crime Check at (509)456-2233 and reference report number 2017-20122967.

The identity of the deceased and the cause of death will be released by the Spokane Medical Examiner’s Office.
