Alert citizens assisted in the capture of a vehicle theft suspect and helped Spokane Police department patrol officers recover the stolen truck he was in. The truck was returned to the owner undamaged.

Today, July 24, 2017, just before 3:30pm, several alert citizens made calls to notify police of a recklessly driven pickup truck. It was later determined that the pickup had been reported stolen less than an hour beforehand. With the help of those telephone calls and patrol officers in the area, the pickup was located and the driver taken into custody. The driver, Adam Glover (33), was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle. Glover was taken into custody without incident and the pickup was returned to the owner undamaged.

A huge thank you to the citizen’s involved and great job to the officers. SPD strives to serve and protect the citizens of Spokane by bringing car thieves to justice.
