SVU Wanting to Identify Witnesses to Sept. 1st Incident

The Spokane Police Department’s Special Victim’s Unit (SVU) is wanting to identify additional witness who may have seen an incident that occurred in downtown Spokane on the night of August 31st/morning of September 1st. Anyone who has information or may have witnessed the events that occurred on or around the tour bus belonging to the band “Decapitated” after their concert at The Pin is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

Investigator’s with SPD’s SVU have been monitoring social media posts surrounding the incident that is believed to have occurred on the night of Aug. 31, 2017 on the tour bus belonging to the band “Decapitated”. The bus was located near the venue the band played at that night, The Pin, located at 412 W. Sprague. A number of those posts mention other people who may have been on the bus during the alleged crime, but were not active participants. Detectives are asking those witnesses who have not already spoken to investigators to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.  SVU Detectives are also asking witnesses that may have seen, photographed, or recorded any activity around the bus between 10:30pm Aug. 31st and 2:00am Sept. 1st to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
