The Spokane Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and SWAT team led a multi-agency drug investigation in Tri-Cities taking down a high-level drug operation and arresting a number of involved suspects. This operation included Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland Police Departments, Benton County Sheriff’s Office, the Metro Drug Task Force, Tri-City Regional SWAT team, as well as SPD’s SWAT and SIU. The partnership and cooperation of all these agencies led to the successful outcome of this on-going investigation.

Today, September 14, 2017, officers from SPD’s SIU and SWAT Team worked with multiple agencies in Tri-Cities to take down a large, high-level drug operation. Search warrants were served at multiple locations across Benton County. Today’s piece of the investigation, which is still continuing, netted several arrests and over 20lbs of Methamphetamine. Additional information about this investigation will be released as it proceeds.

The Spokane Police Department thanks all of the agencies that assisted us in this endeavor. As usual, our partnerships with agencies far and wide continue to lead to fruitful results during important criminal investigations like this.
