Spokane Police arrest outstanding Felony Hit and Run Suspect from fatality crash.

On April 16, 2018, just after 7:30PM, Spokane Police responded to the report of a Hit and Run Crash in the area of N. Market St. / E. Francis Ave.  Witnesses to the crash called to advise the driver from the suspect vehicle had fled the area on foot.  Spokane Police Officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.  The two occupants of the victim vehicle were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.  The crash investigation was taken over by the Spokane Police Major Crimes Crash Investigators.  The suspect vehicle was impounded and a search warrant was executed on the vehicle.  On April 26th, the driver of the victim vehicle died as a result of his injuries from the crash. 

Due to the investigative efforts from the detectives, the driver of the suspect vehicle was identified as 33 year old Dallas E. Ricks.  Detectives located Ricks and arrested him for one count of Felony Hit and Run (Injury), and a second count of Felony Hit and Run (Death).  Ricks was booked into the Spokane County Jail for his charges.
