The Major Crimes Unit has now secured felony warrants for the arrest of the suspect in the Lewis and Clark High School threats. Investigators expect custody of the suspect to be transferred to Spokane Police once he’s finished receiving medical care.

Following up on information provided by the Spokane Police Department Major Crimes Unit, the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office secured felony warrants for the suspect for 2 counts of Felony Harassment (threats to kill) and 1 count of Communication with a Minor for Immoral Purposes.

The suspect is receiving necessary medical care at this time and because of that he is not a threat to the community. Once he’s been treated, investigators will take him into custody on the above charges. We will release his name once he’s been booked into Spokane County Jail.

**Media please note: Last week, original indications were that the suspect was a juvenile, but we now have documentation he is actually an adult and he will be charged as such.
