One male hospitalized after stabbing incident on East Sprague Ave

On 10-28-18 at about 7:30PM, SPD received a 911 call from the 1600 block of E Sprague Ave. A passerby had located an adult male suffering from stab wounds at the location. An off-duty firefighter from Western Washington happened to be driving by and immediately began providing first aid. SPD Officers and SFD Medics were on-scene within a couple minutes, and the male was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries.

Right now Major Crimes Unit detectives processing the scene and speaking with potential witnesses. Information regarding what transpired before and during the stabbing is still being ascertained. At this time there have not been any arrests made. No suspect description is currently available, however detectives and officers continue to investigate leads.
