Armed Convicted Felon Arrested

Convicted felon armed with a handgun arrested in Spokane.

On November 14, 2018, around 2:00pm, Patrol Anti-Crime Team (PACT) Officers Rodriguez and Clark arrested Johnathon L. Allen (27) on an outstanding Department of Corrections warrant in the area of 4100 E. Sprague Ave. After being contacted and arrested for the warrant, Officer Rodriguez searched Allen and found a concealed handgun, with the serial number scratched off, in a holster on Allen’s hip.

Allen has felony convictions for Attempted Robbery 1st degree, Residential Burglary (three counts), Theft 1st degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts). Because of his prior convictions, Allen cannot legally possess firearms.

Allen was booked into the Spokane County Jail on his outstanding warrant and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 1st degree.
