On 01-22-2020 SPD responded to a robbery with a gun call at the 900 block of E Empire.  Police secured the perimeter with a K9 and were also able to get suspect info from video surveillance.

The suspect was identified as John D Redington (12-12-1976).  At that time SPD also established probable cause to charge Redington with felony assault related to domestic violence from a previous incident (#2020-20112928).

Dispatch was able to provide his home address and description of the last vehicle he was seen driving.  Officers located the vehicle in a store parking lot a short time later and Redington was taken into custody.
