9:32 p.m. - SPD responded to a shooting this afternoon. George Ellis (39), has been booked for 1st Assault-DV. The victim remains in critical condition.
9:13 p.m. - Collision leads to the arrest of the driver for DUI, PCS and Suspended
12:44 p.m. - Thanks to the generosity of voters, 14 new recruits have begun training at the Basic Law Enforcement Academy at the Spokane Police Training Center.
12:43 p.m. - A neighbor called SPD after witnessing a female steal a package off his neighbor's front porch. The package was recovered & given back to the victim.
3:24 p.m. - SPD respond to a reported shooting in an apartment. Officers located two males inside an apartment with obvious injuries and began first aid.
4:02 p.m. - Northbound Crestline is closed between Hoffman and Wellesley as Avista restores power.
3:55 p.m. - In December, SPD investigated an armed robbery at a T-Mobile store. A month later, an officer working patrol arrested the suspect for the warrant.
1:15 p.m. - Spokane Police respond to the Spokane International Airport to assist the Spokane Airport Police Department with a DUI injury collision.
1:14 p.m. - SPD responds to a shooting in the parking lot of the McDonalds at the corner of Market and Courtland. One man is dead and a suspect is in custody.
