Suominen was taken into custody by a SPD Police Anti-Crime Team on 3-17-2020.

Original Release:

The Spokane Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating Brian Suominen. He should be considered Armed and Dangerous and we ask the public to please contact Law Enforcement immediately if you see him or know of his whereabouts. Do not attempt to contact him yourself.

Investigators in the SPD DV unit have probable cause to arrest Suominen for the following serious charges;

First Degree Burglary – DV

Second Degree Assault – DV (2 counts)

Felony Domestic Violence Order of Protection Violation

The charges stem from a recent indecent where Suominen was armed at the time he committed the crimes.

The Police Department again wants to stress that while we are asking for your help in locating him, we DO NOT want people to attempt to contact him on their own. Please contact us by calling crime check at 456-2233 or if you are witnessing a crime in progress or dangerous event dial 911.
