Shooting suspect taken into custody without incident by SPD Police Anti-Crime Team

On December 6th, 2020 around 1:00pm SPD responded to a report of a shooting near the 1700 Block of East Wabash.  The victim reported that he had just been shot and that the suspect was “out the door” and he didn’t see where he went.  The victim was also unable to provide his address or his location to first responders so they could help him.

SPD, after using GPS to determine the victim’s location, arrived on scene and made entry into the apartment.  The victim described the incident and the suspect before being transported to the hospital for his injuries.

On December 15th, 2020 Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit developed information on the location of the shooting suspect from the East Wabash shooting.  An SPD Patrol Anti-Crime Team responded to the location and took Rosselder Badger (45) into custody without incident.  Badger was booked into Spokane County Jail on his warrant for 1st Degree Assault.
