Fatal collision shuts down Hwy 2

Fatal collision closes US Hwy 2

 

SPD is currently investigating a fatal collision on US Hwy 2 between Russell Rd and Spotted Rd involving three vehicles. Two people are deceased, two others were transported to a local hospital via ambulance, and another was evaluated by medical personnel on scene.

 

Hwy 2 between Spotted and Russell is currently closed and will remain so for several hours. Major Crimes Unit collision investigators are on scene, and the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
