Shooting in North Spokane sends one juvenile male to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
On 03/20/2022 at approximately 2030 hours 911 received a phone call from a female stating her brother had been shot in the foot.
Officers arrived at the location in the 3200 block of N Lincoln St. within minutes and found a juvenile male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his foot. Officers searched the location for more victims and secured the scene for medics to arrive and take over medical care.
Medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary information indicated the shooting occurred when the suspect(s) fired multiple rounds from the street into the residence, then fled in a silver passenger vehicle. At the time of the shooting there were multiple people inside the residence.
Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives arrived at the location and took over the investigation. At this time the suspect(s) have not been located, although it does not appear as if this was a random event.
Please be aware if you are travelling in the area of N Lincoln St. and W Alice Ave. that there will be police presence and traffic may be slowed.
