Current collision investigation on E Mission Ave

SPD is currently investigating a fatal vehicle collision in the 2600 block of E Mission Ave, near Chief Gary Park.

On 03-06-23, a little before 3:30PM, emergency crews responded to a collision in which a vehicle struck a residence. First responders found the lone occupant of the vehicle deceased. No other individuals were injured in the incident.

SPD Major Crimes Unit collision investigators are currently processing the scene. Mission Ave between Stone St. and Nelson St. will be closed for several hours.
