Update 3/29/23:
SPD MCU detectives continue to investigate the shooting which occurred on 03-28-23 in the 1900 block of N Holy Names Ct. As part of that investigation detectives have served a search warrant at a residence, gathered evidence, and contacted all parties involved. At this time there are no outstanding suspects. The investigation continues, and more information will be released when appropriate.

SPD responds to a deadly shooting in NW Spokane
On March 28, 2023, at 3:00 pm SPD officers responded to the 1900 block of Holy Names Court for a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a deceased adult male inside a residence. Officers discovered the potential suspect left the residence. Police set up a perimeter in attempts to locate the suspect. At this time the person of interest is outstanding and it appears this was not a random shooting. SPD’s Major Crimes Unit (MCU) responded to the scene and currently has the area around the residence restricted.
This is an active investigation and more information will be released at a later date. The identity of the deceased male will be released by the medical examiner.
