SPD Seeks Assistance Locating Vulnerable Adult

Update 10/5/2023: Herndon was located yesterday afternoon by Spokane County Sheriff's Office and is now safe. Thank you to all who kept an eye out for him.

Spokane Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing vulnerable adult. Roger Herndon (62) suffers from dementia. He was last seen in the area of Hamilton and Illinois. If you see Herndon or know of his whereabouts, please call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

Today, October 3, 2023, just before 5:00pm, Spokane Police received a call from the home Herndon lives in advising he was missing. He often goes to Mission Park or to the Safeway at Mission and Hamilton.

Herndon is described as a white male, 5’6”, 100lbs, hazel eyes, bald, and was last seen possibly wearing a blue shirt and blue pants.
