The Spokane Police Department is seeking help from community members in identifying a suspect in an arson that caused extensive damage to a local business. On May 15th, 2024 at just after midnight, 911 received multiple calls about a fire. An unknown subject started a structure fire in the 1000 block of West Shannon Avenue. The Spokane Fire Department responded to combat the fire intentionally set by this male. SPD also responded and a thorough canvass of the surrounding area yielded security photos and video of the suspect.

The suspect is a white male with a distinct hairline/haircut and appears to be in his 20-30’s. Based on the evidence, probable cause has been established to arrest this male for 2nd Degree Arson. If you have information on the identity of this suspect, please contact Crime Check at 509 456-2233. Reference 2024-20092655.
