SPD Seeks Assistance in Identifying Suspect in an Arson Investigation

The Spokane Police Department is seeking help from community members in identifying a suspect in an arson that caused extensive damage to a local business. On May 15th, 2024 at just after midnight, 911 received multiple calls about a fire. An unknown subject started a structure fire in the 1000 block of West Shannon Avenue. The Spokane Fire Department responded to combat the fire intentionally set by this male. SPD also responded and a thorough canvass of the surrounding area yielded security photos and video of the suspect.

The suspect is a white male with a distinct hairline/haircut and appears to be in his 20-30’s. Based on the evidence, probable cause has been established to arrest this male for 2nd Degree Arson.
