Early morning stabbing sends one to the hospital, suspect in custody

On March 3rd, 2025 at just after 7am, officers assigned to Downtown responded to a stabbing at a hotel located at 2nd and Washington.  The initial complaint given to 911 was that a subject was armed with a weapon.  Just prior to law enforcement arriving on scene, a stabbing took place.  Officers quickly detained the suspect as he attempted to the leave the area. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital after sustaining multiple injuries that were considered life threatening.  Initial information indicated that the involved parties knew each other and the stabbing resulted after an argument took place.  Lee G. Myers (46) was taken into custody and booked into the Spokane County Jail for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.  This incident is an isolated event and there is no current threat to the public.
