Suspect in fatal shooting in custody

The search for the suspect in the fatal shooting incident on October 12th came to a close earlier this morning (October 17th) when SPD patrol officers assigned to the downtown area and Detectives with Special Investigations located Andre D. Moore (32) in Downtown Spokane.  Moore was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Spokane County Jail for 1st Degree Murder.  Detectives with SPD’s Major Crimes Unit (MCU) and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) worked tirelessly going through all the collected evidence as well as canvassing the area around the scene looking for any possible video evidence.  Through these exhaustive steps, investigators were able to determine Moore’s involvement in the shooting that took another man’s life.
