National Night Out in Spokane Cancelled Due to Wildfire Conditions

The Spokane Police Department, in coordination with our community partners, has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's National Night Out events scheduled for tomorrow evening.

With active wildfires affecting our region and forecasts calling for unhealthy air quality, the safety of our community, volunteers, and police officers must remain our highest priority.

While we are disappointed to miss this annual opportunity to connect with neighbors, these conditions require us to focus on public safety and ensure emergency resources remain available should they be needed.

We appreciate the understanding of our residents, neighborhood organizers, and community partners. We look forward to reconnecting with the community at future events once conditions improve.
