Two SPD Officers Assaulted While Working Bar Patrol

9:07 a.m. - Two Spokane Police Officers were assaulted over the weekend while working bar patrol by two males, acting disorderly and challenging bar security.

8:56 a.m. - SFD was dispatched to the 5000 block of North Stevens to a report of a fully involved garage fire.

8:50 a.m. - The Spokane Fire Department was dispatched to 9114 N. Newport Highway for a reported fire inside the cooking preparation area at Wendy's Restaurant.

Passerby Saves Home and Family

8:48 a.m. - The passerby was able to notify the residents, who were unaware of the fire, and remain on the phone with 911 until they evacuated from the house.

Update to Post / Alice Hit and Run

7:45 p.m. - Thanks to information we received, officers were able to arrest Damon Ashe (36) for a hit & run which sent a juvenile to the hospital yesterday.

Spokane Police are investigating a felony hit and run.
