Youth Program Scholarships

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in recreation activities. Youth Program Scholarships are designed to make our recreation programs more accessible to the community. Our aim is to eliminate financial barriers and ensure that everyone in our community can enjoy the benefits of recreation. Scholarships are awarded on a first come first served basis while funds are available. Scholarships are for 50% off program costs.

Swim Lessons

The City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department partners with the USA Swimming Foundation Make a Splash program and the Spokane Parks Foundation to provide free swim lessons to youth! These lessons are available at A.M. Cannon, Hillyard, and Liberty Aquatic Centers for the summer season. Visit our Aquatics Scholarships page for more information.
