May 4, 2024, will mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of EXPO '74, and planning is underway for a city-wide celebration honoring its impactful transformation to our community. Events and activations will occur over a nine-week period (May 4 – July 4, 2024) and will highlight Spokane's local, regional, and international community through arts and culture, food, history, recreation, environment, and infrastructure.

The team behind Expo '74’s 50th anniversary celebration is excited to announce the launch of Club '74 -- a group of supporters dedicated to showcasing our community, bringing people together, and creating positive change.
With a donation of $74, members of Club '74 will be central to supporting the free, family-friendly activities and programs that will highlight the nine-week celebration beginning on May 4 and concluding on the weekend of July 4, 2024.
During that time, everyone is invited to participate in an exciting calendar of events, entertainment, fireworks and so much more, as we honor and commemorate the extraordinary vision of our community 50 years ago. Club '74 members can play a main role in supporting these events.

Yes. Events and activations must occur between May 4 – July 4, be open to the public, accessible and inclusive. All events and activations should be coordinated through one of the five EXPO planning committees.
Events and activations will occur throughout the city and may take place at your business location, in your neighborhood or at one of our participating venues or locations listed below.
