Business Recycling

We offer single-stream recycling to commercial customers including businesses, schools, and most multi-family buildings. Our recycling services allow customers to collect all recyclables in a single container without sorting.

The materials are taken to a Materials Recovery Facility on the West Plains that's owned and operated by Waste Management, a private company. Visit the Waste Management Northwest website. The company sorts the items and sells the recyclables. The facility is not open to public drive-in customers. Call 509.535.0284 for information.

Depending on their needs, commercial customers can select a recycling cart or larger recycling dumpster. Call 311 for rates and service information. Please have your container accessible for emptying by 6 a.m. on your collection day.

If you have items that you believe are recyclable but we do not accept in the blue bin, check out www.SpokaneWasteDirectory.org for a list of recycling centers and more information. If your recycling cart contains unacceptable materials, you will be charged for a contaminated cart at the refuse rates for that collection.
