Spokane Human Rights Commission

Authorized by and Date: Amended SMC sections (Title 4, 4/20/92) 4.10.010, 4.20.020, and 4.10.040, and adding a new section 4.10.050 to chapter 4.10 of the SMC.

Mission Statement/Purpose: The Human Rights Commission advises and makes recommendations to the City Council regarding issues related to human rights and unjust discrimination and the implementation of programs consistent with the needs of all residents of the City of Spokane.

Meeting date, time and location: The Commission meets on the Fourth Tuesday of each month, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Unless otherwise noted in the meeting agenda meetings will be held at City Hall in the lower level, in the City Council Chambers.
