The City of Spokane has launched an online tool in its campaign to showcase each of Spokane's 27 neighborhoods.

Over the coming weeks, the City is asking people in Spokane what they love about living, recreating, and doing business in their neighborhood. The input will set the framework for the physical, social, and economic development of the city. The information will help establish policies for land use, transportation, parks, open spaces, shopping, dining, entertainment and employment.

Spokane's residents can help write their city's story for the next 20 years by sharing what they love about their neighborhood on ShapingSpokane.org's interactive My Neighborhood map. Users can drop icons to mark great things and places in their neighborhood and tell others about them. More in-depth information can be entered into the My Neighborhood Story link, a forum for longer explanations.

The Shaping Spokane campaign is part of the City's work to update its 20-year vision and roadmap for Spokane.
