Citizens invited to participate in Wall Street surface design meeting

4 p.m. - Citizens are invited to a meeting to discuss the surface design of a block of Wall Street downtown, following a project to install a sewer main.

Arrest made after SPD rifle stolen from officer's personal vehicle

2:29 p.m. - Spokane Police have arrested a suspect in the June 20th theft of an SPD issued rifle stolen from an officer’s personal vehicle.

City extends splash pad hours

3:31 p.m. - Spokane Parks and Recreation splash pads will open at 9 am beginning Tuesday, adding two additional hours.
