3:24 p.m. - Downriver and Esmeralda golf courses are preparing to open March 15. Indian Canyon and the Creek at Qualchan will have opening dates soon.
7:26 p.m. - The Major Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Kennewick Police Department, has made two arrests in the homicide case from two nights ago.

10:55 p.m. - On 03-08-18 a gunshot was heard near the 800 block of E Hoffman. A short time later a male was brought to Holy Family Hospital with a gunshot wound.
11:38 a.m. - An adult female and her dog are deceased after a house fire in the Perry District neighborhood this morning.

3:48 p.m. - Sunlight exposure is keeping Riverfront from building ice to the thickness necessary. A cooling component failed last month, but is now functioning.
6:37 p.m. - On 03-04-18 a little after 5PM, SPD received calls near Division and Rockwell of a male swinging a machete and threatening pedestrians.
2:24 p.m. - We are making ice! Necessary mechanical repairs have been made under warranty, and the new vessel passed testing and inspection.
9:58 p.m. - SPD responded to calls of a possible active shooter downtown Spokane. A male was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail.
12:56 a.m. - Officers responded to 200 E Wedgewood Ave at about 11:40PM and found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds.
