Mayor Lisa Brown has ordered flags at all City facilities to be lowered to half-staff in remembrance of Deer Park Mayor Tim Verzal.
“The City of Spokane sends its condolences to Mayor Verzal’s family, friends, colleagues, and the Deer Park community,” said Mayor Brown. “Mayor Verzal will be remembered for his commitment to the Deer Park community and the Inland Northwest region. He will be missed.”
Mayor Brown encourages anyone with a flag outside of their home or business to join us in this recognition to honor his memory. Flags will remain at half-staff through Tuesday, Sept. 15.
