“The Taming of the Shrew” is coming to Riverfront Park! We are excited to be hosting Montana Shakespeare in the Parks performance on August 23rd, 2015.

This is the 43rd season for the company and their largest tour so far. Montana Shakespeare in the Parks tours with 10 professional actors who bring live theatre to communities in Montana and neighboring states.

This is an outreach program of Montana State University's College of Arts and Architecture. The free performances are supported by grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donors, and by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Before visiting Riverfront Park, the company will be performing, “Cyrano de Bergerac”, at the Pavilion Park in Liberty Lake on August 22nd, 2015.

We invite you and your family and friends, to pack a picnic, bring some blankets and chairs, and enjoy the show! We encourage you to arrive early and get a good seat. The performance begins at 5pm in the Lilac Meadow at Riverfront Park.

Kevin Asselin, artistic director of MSIP, will direct “The Taming of the Shrew” with a Wild West take on the play.

Both performances are FREE, open to the public, and start at 5 p.m.

We hope to see you there!
