Special Loading Zones (SLZ) are for commercial vehicles and those vehicles engaged in services in conjunction with utilities, construction and maintenance, and special parking zones. The permits are for use by official vehicles, clearly identifiable news media vehicles, clearly identifiable vehicles of charitable, nonprofit service organizations, and vehicles qualifying for an Entertainment Parking District privilege as provided in SMC 16A.04.100 and SMC 16A.61.5703.
To reserve a space, you will need to know How to Identify On-Street Parking Spaces for your permit. Special Loading Zones require 72-hours advance notice to reserve online.
Special Loading Zone permits are $15/parking space per day.
Permits may be purchased online at www.spokanepermits.org.
NOTE: An account must be created, and the applicant needs to be logged into an account in order to apply for a parking permit. When logged in, choose the “Parking” tab, and then choose “Apply for a Permit” in the upper left corner of the permit account page.
