SPOKANE – The Numerica Skate Ribbon is anticipated to open to the public on Saturday, November 18, welcoming ice skaters for another beautiful winter at Spokane’s downtown park.

“The Numerica Skate Ribbon is a wonderful place to create memories with family and friends,” said Carla Cicero, Numerica Credit Union president and CEO. “Riverfront Park continues to be a special place to be, especially during the holiday season.”

Coming soon: Riverfront will offer rental of a private igloo that can accommodate up to six people. Amenities include comfortable furnishings, a heater, rug, and lighting. More information will be posted online once it's ready!

Preview night for Unlimited Ice Pass or Riverfront All-Access Annual Pass holders only

Unlimited Ice Passes may be purchased on site at a 15% discount

Lake City Figure Skating coaches will provide tips and assistance to emerging skaters

 

Learn to Skate with Lake City Figure Skating Club

Various sessions held on Saturdays, December – February | 10 - 11 a.m.

Price varies by session length. Pre-registration required.

Join the coaches of Lake City Figure Skating in these Learn to Skate – Group Ice Skating lessons and learn the FUNdamentals of ice skating. Skaters will work through the curriculum of Learn to Skate USA and come away with new skills, increased self-confidence, and lots of fun memories.

 

DJ Night on the Ice presented by Coca-Cola

Fridays, December – January and New Year’s Eve | 6 – 9 p.m.

Get your skate on with DJ A1 for music, lights, contests, and more!

      

Numerica Skate with the Chiefs presented by Numerica Credit Union

Join us for a community skate night with the Spokane Chiefs. Skate alongside your favorite players, and mascot Boomer, get autographs and take pictures. Free admission and skate rentals to the first 300 people.

Friday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas days. Extended hours over Christmas break.

Skate Rental: $6.95/per visit (visitors can bring their own skates at no charge)
