Licenses and Permits

Spokane County residents can apply for, renew, or replace their Concealed Pistol Licenses through our online services. If you need assistance, or don't have a computer, we have computers available for public use at the Public Safety Building (1100 W Mallon Ave) or Spokane Valley Precinct (12710 E Sprague Ave). This section provides everything you need to know about the application process, fingerprinting, and payment options.

Concealed Pistol Licenses (CPLs)

Residents of Spokane County can apply online for original, renewal, or replacement Concealed Pistol Licenses (CPLs).

Original Concealed Pistol License applications require fingerprinting. There will be a prompt at the end of your application process to schedule them.

Fingerprint Services (excludes CPL)

For general fingerprinting (NOT Concealed Pistol License fingerprinting), please apply on the Spokane County Sheriff’s website

Important Info

  • Out-of-state residents may apply as nonresidents.
  • Washington Residents must live in Spokane County to apply. Applications from other counties will be withdrawn.
  • The online system accepts credit/debit cards only. Cash/check payments must be made in person during Public Window Hours at:

  • Fingerprint appointments are scheduled while completing your online application.
